May the Fourth be with you! In celebration of Star Wars Day, we HAD to review this gorgeous pair of Darth Vader ears from CreepyCraftyCool on Etsy! Sometimes it really is good to be bad, and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader is one of the best film villains of all time. So whenever we see an awesome pair of custom ears inspired by this character, we love to snap them up!
These ears have such a unique texture! Their material is like nothing I’ve ever seen on a pair of ears before, and it catches the light in an amazing way. Between that and the adorable miniature lightsaber on the bow, we think these ears might be worth turning to the dark side for.

Unique Theme/Style
Great!
These ears are easily recognizable as belonging to the “dark side.” We’ve seen a lot of Darth Vader-inspired ears, and while these ears don’t have any distinct Vader insignia, they are still definitely dark!
Ear Shape/Size:
Great!
These ears are plush and overstuffed, which I love! (No flat ears here, please!)
Stitching/Gluing:
Great!
No signs of stitching or gluing on these ears! The seam on the outside of the ears is covered by a string of bling, which isn’t subtle but does have some nice sparkle!
Materials:
Great!
I love the unique mini-squares of shiny leather on these ears! I haven’t seen this material before and it looks amazing in-person.
Shipping/Packaging
Great!
They came in a sturdy box, wrapped in unique packaging and included an adorable hand-written note!
Turnaround Time:
Great!
These ears were on my doorstep a mere 1.5 days after I ordered them. That’s AMAZING!!! I do wish there had been the option for a cheaper, slower shipping option for those of us who didn’t need a rush order, though.
Who would love these?
FashionEarstas who try to defect to the First Order every time they ride Rise of the Resistance! I wore them into Oga’s Cantina and the staff were terrified that I would rat them out to the dark side for being resistance sympathizers!

What Needs Work
Headband
Ok
Because the headband is fabric-lined, it is a bit slippery. Ours was also a bit warped and uneven.
Bow:
Ok
This bow is adorable, but it does get crumpled and misshapen quite easily
Wearability:
Ok
The ears are a bit bigger than many pairs of shopDisney ears, which does make them a bit heavy.
Pricing: $$
Ok
These ears are quite pricy, with $9.50 shipping on top of a $45 price tag for the ears.
Where should future FashionEarstas be seen in these ears?
If you have a cruise booked on the Galactic Starcruiser, these ears would be the perfect complement to your outfit! And if your cruise is a bit more planet-bound, they would be a great accessory for Star Wars Day at Sea on any Disney Cruise Line sailing that offers this event!

These ears are really unique and fun to look at! But for the price of almost $55, we expect them to be more wearable and high-quality than they were. Still, they’re a great pair of Darth Vader ears if you don’t have to worry about your budget!
