FashionEarsta spotted some of the much-delayed Mickey Mouse Pirates of the Caribbean collection on shopDisney today!
Have you been collecting the Mickey Mouse the Main Attraction series? If so, you’ve probably been frustrated since the beginning of the year! Originally this was a monthly release, with new ears, Loungefly bags, plushes and pins scheduled to release every month. But in January we already knew we were going to be in for a rough year when the Space Mountain collection didn’t drop (and appeared in-person and online at very very different times!) Now they’ve removed all mentions of months from the shopDisney page and will apparently just be releasing 12 series at some unspecified dated
This morning, we did notice that the Mickey Mouse the Main Attraction: Pirates of the Caribbean collection is now live on shopDisney. While it’s definitely not February any more, at least they eventually made this merchandise available to those of us who can’t get to the parks.
We can’t help but remember how much more we liked the merchandise from the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collections released in 2020. Those releases all shared the same themes as the Mickey Mouse collections (including the Pirates of the Caribbean ride) and we have to say that we prefer the manufacturing quality of those items.

Mickey Mouse Meets Pirates of the Caribbean
The ears released in this collection are… unique! While we like that this collection features ears with no bows that might appeal to a wider range of Disney fans, we’re not sure about the fluffy faux hat that replaced the bow on this pair!
