These Little Mermaid inspired ears make a splash!

Back in the early days of FashionEarsta, we started an epic hunt to find the perfect pair of ears to review and begin our journey and these were some of the very first pairs of ears we purchased. We instantly fell in love with these Little Mermaid-inspired ears because of the tiny fork attached to the bow. Even though it seems silly to fall for a pair of ears because of a fork, it was just as true then as it is now; the little details are what makes the ears special.
Unfortunately, soon after we received these ears their designer, Earsarepoppin, permanently closed their Etsy shop. We did manage to find some similar ears made by a different shop, ShimmeringEverAfter; as you will see from our review of their Valentines Day ears below, we were very impressed with their ears!
I was able to enlist one of our Seven Seas Bees who knows a thing or two about both ears and The Little Mermaid to help with our vigorous testing!

What We Loved
Unique Theme/Style:
Great!
These have a ton of sparkle and we love the little details like the “dinglehopper!”
Bow:
Great!
This is what originally sold us on these ears to begin with! The bow is nice and sturdy and does not flip or flop.
Materials:
Good
The materials are really great. The ears themselves are very sparkly and seem durable.
Wearability:
Great!
The ears are light, so they do flip and flop a bit BUT this means they could be worn all day without a wearer getting an ear headache!
Pricing: $$
Good
For their original price of $34.99 these ears seem like a pretty good value considering the amount of detail and work that went into them.
Stitching/Gluing:
Great!
These are very well constructed but there is not a trace of spare glue to be seen!
Headband:
Great!
The headband is very comfortable and sturdy.
Ear Shape/Size:
Great!
Perfectly spaced! Well done!

We honestly do not remember how these arrived, since they have been safely in our special ear case for over a year now!
Where should future FashionEarstas be seen in these ears?
These ears would be perfect to wear on your clamshell adventure on the Journey of the Little Mermaid ride at Disney World and Disney’s California Adventure! When it reopens, you can show your support for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid stage show at Hollywood Studios! Or maybe you can show off your subtle Little Mermaid style at Cinderella’s Royal Table, where Ariel will visit your table (in non-pandemic years). I wonder if Ariel would know those ears were for her?

We really loved these ears and just about everything about them. Sadly, we couldn’t give them a 5 star review because we do not remember how they were packaged or how long it took for them to arrive!
