Our friends and family are the ones who bring the fun, the crazy, and the memories to our adventures. In Finding Nemo, both Nemo and his dad Marlin make friendships on their journeys across the big blue sea.
When we were looking for a fun pair of Finding Nemo Disney ears, we wanted to make sure some of those memorable characters–Dory, Squirt and the “mine, mine, mine” seagulls–were featured in the design. They’re a celebration of the whole, lovable gang!

What We Loved
Unique Theme/Style:
Great!
The color blue is a perfect choice to represent the big blue sea that plays such a prominent role in the movie.
Because this movie gives us so many fun characters, it is great to see Nemo’s friends featured with him.
Ear Shape/Size:
Good.
These ears are smaller than ones that I have worn in the past. Personally, I like the bigger ears but I do like the variety in having some smaller ear designs.
Stitching/Gluing:
Great!
No problems with the stitching or gluing on these ears. They are stitched well for wear.
Pricing:
$$
These ears were priced at $24.95 plus shipping on Etsy. What a great price point for a fun pair of ears. It lets me stock up on some ears without buyer’s remorse when the credit card statement comes in!
I LOVED that Eileen, the seller, does a random drawing! What a great way to incentivize buyers to return to her shop and purchase more ears and accessories.
We love supporting small businesses and this was a fun little reward to receive. This bracelet will definitely make my packing list for my next Disney trip.
Bow
Great!
The turquoise color really pops against the deeper shade of blue. The bow is off center and on one of the ears. I liked the flowers she added on the other side of the ears for balance.
Dory is featured as the centerpiece of the bow which is a nice touch to the theme of friendship in the movie.
Turnaround Time:
The ears arrived in just 5 days. They were in stock and ready to ship! Kudos to the seller for shipping quickly.

Wearability
Good.
Because of the satin headband, these ears are slippery and slid around. I know that I would be very careful with them on the wilder rides but they are lightweight for tamer rides and shows. The smaller size is also comfortable.

FashionEarstas who love Nemo and the color blue! If you are looking for a smaller pair of ears at a very attractive price point, these are a great choice.
What Needs Work
Headband:
Fair
This headband is thin and fragile. I am afraid I could break them so I have been very careful with them. When packing them for Disney, I would want to provide some protection for these ears.
Materials:
Fair.
I love the sparkles and bow on the front but the back is plain.
While it does say that in the copy, it would have been better to show a photo of the back of the ears for full transparency on what you are buying.
Shipping/Packaging:
Fair.
The ears fit inside the box well but the packaging was only a single sheet of tissue paper. Especially with these ears being positioned on a thinner headband, the ears could have used more protection.
I loved that the seller included a random gift drawing winning bracelet as it made me take a second look at her store but more protective packaging would have been an improvement.

These ears make the perfect companion to The Seas with Nemo & Friends pavilion in Epcot. You can visit SeaBase, check out Turtle Talk with Crush, or board a clammobile to ride The Seas with Nemo & Friends ride. Don’t forget to wear your these ears and sing along with the cast of Finding Nemo: The Musical in Animal Kingdom when it returns. But we don’t recommend joining Nemo and swimming in these ears!

While I am in love with the colors on these ears, the thin headband and plain material on the back brought down the overall quality of the ears. The added touch of Nemo’s friends are a great, colorful addition and make these ears incredibly versatile to wear. Overall, they are at a great price point to enjoy.
