Cruise in style in this high-quality, sparkly, and fully sizable visor.
It is no great secret amongst the FashionEarstas that the Chief Ears Officer and I are huge cruise lovers. He went on his first cruise when we honeymooned to the Caribbean, and he has been in love ever since. We adore the all-inclusive, full-service packages, the endless food and drink, and the countless activities. However, I have a little confession to make to all of you… neither of us have ever experienced Disney Cruise Lines. It is obviously high on our list of research and vacation priorities!
During the pandemic, we’ve been stuck in our living room, just like the rest of you, so we did what any other self-respecting cruisers would do… we watch other people cruising on YouTube. We have fallen so far down the video rabbit hole, that we’ve actually discovered new travel agents (shout out to Harr Travel) as well as the amazing Provost Park Pass family.
This video is the exact video that led to me ordering this pair of ears — it’s full of joy, excitement, anticipation, and pixie dust magic, as you’d expect!
I fully intend to wear this practical, magical visor when Minnie and I meet on board — here’s my honest review of the Disney Cruise Lines visor from Koqui Designs!

What We Loved
Unique Theme/Style:
Great!
No one could mistake the iconic anchors for anything other than Disney Cruise Lines!
Bow:
Great!
I love the little white hearts in the sequined fabric, and it really brings out the Minnie flavor. I also appreciate the adorable grosgrain ribbon in the middle with the extra sparkle.
Wearability:
Great!
I probably could have shaken my head more rigorously when testing these, but it wouldn’t have made a difference.
This visor is rock solid. As I wrote this post and took pictures and videos, I wore it for nearly two hours. No headache, no hair caught in velcro, no drooping.
Super impressed!
Turnaround Time:

I ordered these on the 15th and they shipped from Florida to Pennsylvania by the 22nd and were in my hands by the 24th!
Materials:
Great!
All of the materials used (cord, sequin fabric, ribbon, patch) all feel high-quality and tastefully done.
I especially love the tiny anchors on the ears themselves.

For their original price of $38.63 they were a great value!
Stitching/Gluing:
Great!
With the exception of some teeny, tiny bits of barely-visible glue right around the edges of the rhinestones, all the stitching and gluing is impeccable.
Shipping/Packaging:
Good.
These ears came inside a super sturdy box with a lovely cellophane bag around them, as well as a little bit of tissue, a copy of my invoice, and an adorable business card.
Headband:
Great!
Obviously with this being a visor, our concern is mostly about whether it fits or not.
This headband has plenty of room to size it to your head, and the velcro strips face the correct way so as to not catch in your hair if you need to make it bigger.
Ear Shape/Size:
Great!
Perfectly round and thin, like adorable little pancakes. Love them.
Who would love these?

Wait. There wasn’t anything. This has only happened a couple of times. I am so very impressed with Katy at KoquiDesigns on Etsy. Thank you for making my future Disney Cruise an amazingly stylish and sparkly one!
Where should future FashionEarstas be seen in these ears?
I feel like we’ve already discussed this. But in case you need more ideas here are a few: kick things off by wearing them to your Sail Away Celebration, throw them on for a few grownup minutes at the Quiet Cove Pool on board, or keep them handy when you hop over to Castaway Cay for some bike riding or fishing!

I’m so glad that we are all able to return to our very serious business of making magical vacations and pixie dust wishes come true. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to kick back and sip a cool drink on board a Disney Cruise very, very soon! Inspired by Koqui Designs amazing visor, I think I’ll go visit a few more YouTube walk throughs and sip a homemade DCL Blueberry Lemon Iced Tea!
